Cousins Birthday party

On July 25, we had a fun cousins get-together and enjoyed some fun times with the gang at Cascade Park in Orem.

Angel Alaina

Last week, as I had dinner with Alaina on her last day as a 3-year-old, I felt just a twinge of sadness--as I thought, "We might never have another three-year-old girl!"  It was just one more reminder to cherish every moment with each of our children.  

The flower she's smelling is a Peony we transplanted several years ago from Grandma Hadfield's flower bed at her house in Lehi.  She used to look out her window at them every day from her kitchen window.  They bloomed well this spring!

Alaina's 4th Birthday party

Becky went all-out for Alaina's 4th Birthday party--with a princess cake, and plenty of fun outdoor activities.  We had 10 girls over out of the 12 in the neighborhood that she invited.  

Mother's Day Feast

The kids were super-excited about preparing this special mother's day feast--complete with seat assignments, personalized seat tags, fancy china and cloth napkins, and yummy food.  Many of the decorations were a surprise and they hid while mom came out. 

There were so many hand-made custom cards, Jeremy made a special mail box just to hold all of them.  All the decorating and the fancy ideas were his.

School Awards

Robert, Jeremy, and Wesley each received several awards at the school end-of-year assembly.  Robert and Jeremy were each chosen by their teachers as the one boy scholar who best exemplified the spirit of Noah Webster Academy.  This was the award that made their parents most pleased!  

Robert Arrow of Light

Robert graduated from cub scouts and moved on to 11-year-old scouts.  He completed the Arrow of Light, and did a great job with his scout requirements--and already went on his first scout campout on June 21, 2008!
