Last week, as I had dinner with Alaina on her last day as a 3-year-old, I felt just a twinge of sadness--as I thought, "We might never have another three-year-old girl!" It was just one more reminder to cherish every moment with each of our children. The flower she's smelling is a Peony we transplanted several years ago from Grandma Hadfield's flower bed at her house in Lehi. She used to look out her window at them every day from her kitchen window. They bloomed well this spring!
